  • Soy- is a product of soybeans. Soy allergy can be limited to one area of the body or may involve a number of areas. They may include redness and/or itching skin, swelling lips and/or tongue, wheezing, shortness of breath, hoarseness or tightness in the throat, nausea and emesis.
  • Sesame- allergic reactions to sesame seeds or sesame oil can cause anaphylaxis. There has been an increase in sesame allergies possibly due to the increase number of products containing sesame seeds and sesame oil.
  • Shellfish Allergy- encompasses crustaceans which include crabs, lobsters, crayfish, shrimp and prawns. Mollusks include squid, snails, clams, oysters and scallops.
